BANGOR – The public is invited to a slide show and “virtual tour” of the Penjajawoc Marsh, a state-designated significant wetland in Bangor at 7 p.m. Thursday at the Bangor Public Library on Harlow Street.

Sponsored by Bangor Area Citizens Organized for Responsible Development, the slide show will be presented by Ron Joseph, a biologist, wetlands specialist and photographer, based on many years of his work in the marsh. There also will be information available on the super Wal-Mart proposed for this area and issues raised by other “big-box” retail development.
