BANGOR – The Maine Department of Transportation has completed the majority of work on the Franklin Street bridge that crosses the Kenduskeag Stream downtown. The street is now open to vehicle and pedestrian traffic. The project replaced an aging and deteriorating bridge. The reopening of the street restores full access to businesses and properties in the area.
