I read the Dec. 23-24 letter by Carol Tiffin James, who is frustrated by grammatical and spelling mistakes in the media.

She is not alone; I agree with her 100 percent. I complain to whoever is present each time I see these mistakes. What a waste of time getting an education if the results are so dumb.
