At Ellsworth, Adam Smith hit a free throw with 6.1 seconds left to lift Ellsworth to a 70-69 overtime victory over George Stevens Academy of Blue Hill.
Derek Awalt and John Morse each paced Ellsworth with 18 points. Joe Richards added 10 and Smith finished with nine.

At Alfond Arena, Will Toner scored two goals while Jake Hedstrom scored one and assisted on two others to lead the Orono Red Riots past Winthrop/Hall-Dale.
For the 5-0 Riots, third period goals by Brian Caggiano and Hedstrom were the difference. Goalie Paul Pangburn made 18 saves on 21 shots.
For 2-2 Winthrop/Hall-Dale, Bobby Clark scored two goals and assisted on the other. Justin Feeney scored the other goal. Adam St. Onge saved 23 of 28 shots.

At Alfond Arena, Matt Dupres and Griffin Dill each had two goals and two assists to lead the Indians to their first victory.
