Annual drive ends; $50,000 goal in sight

As December draws to conclusion, so does the Santa’s Helper Fund. It has been yet another successful campaign filled with the spirit of sharing that ties us all together as friends and neighbors. On behalf of The Salvation Army, the Bangor Daily News thanks you for your charitable assistance. Without you, this would not be possible.

Total collections stand at $49,500. We are confident that a few more days will bring the final contributions to push us to our $50,000 fund-raising goal. Once all final donations have been counted, the Santa’s Helper Fund will publish its grand total along with any outstanding donors or corrections. Look for it in mid-January.
