CAMDEN – Police arrested a male juvenile Wednesday evening in connection with the burglary and theft at Russell’s of Camden jewelry store early Tuesday morning.

Lt. Cameron Campbell would not disclose the charges the youth faces, nor his age. The boy resides in Camden. Campbell also declined to say whether more arrests are expected.

“The investigation continues,” he said.

Police responded to an alarm at the Main Street jewelry store at 2:30 a.m. Tuesday, and discovered the glass door had been smashed, and someone had entered the store and smashed a glass display case.

Two or three watches were missing from the case, police said.

Officers followed a single set of footprints in the snow the night of the burglary, but were unable to apprehend anyone that night.
