Brewer High School sophomore Ian Robinson won the 16-and-under title at the United States Tennis Association’s New England Christmas Championships in Bloomfield, Conn., Thursday. The unseeded 15-year-old upset No. 1 seed Juan Ocampos 7-5, 7-5 in the semifinals before topping No. 2 seed Scott Salway 6-2, 6-2 in the final. He will play in a national qualifier in Nashua, N.H., beginning Friday.
