WARREN – Knox County sheriff’s deputies responded to calls Thursday involving the vandalism of about a dozen mailboxes.

According to Lt. Reggie Walker, there were no suspects in the criminal mischief incidents, which centered around the Four Rod Road area.

The vandalism occurred sometime Wednesday night or early Thursday.

The amount of damage to property was estimated at $700, Walker said Friday, adding that it appeared the perpetrators had been roaming the area on foot.
