MILO – Buddy Leavitt scored all six of his points in the fourth quarter and Piscataquis of Guilford went 7-for-10 from the foul line Thursday night to hold off Penquis 49-40 in a battle of the top two teams in the Eastern Maine Class C standings.

Scott DeCastro led the Pirates with 15 points, Randy Burgess tossed in 12 and Kyle Pulkkinen added 10.

Ben Knapp’s game-high 16 points led the way for Penquis.
