Bangor police arrested Rebecca Allen, 47, of 96 Grove St. on Sunday afternoon for allegedly stealing $99.21 worth of clothing from Wal-Mart.

A three-car accident Saturday on Stillwater Avenue resulted in more than $7,000 in damage but no serious injuries.

Bangor police reported that Sarah J. Chaffey, 24, of Bangor was driving a 1998 sport utility vehicle north when she failed to stop in time to avoid a car stopped ahead of her.

She struck a four-door 1991 sedan driven by Jason Birmingham, 16, of Bangor.

Birmingham’s car in turn struck a 1995 four-door sedan driven by James M. Collin, 18, of Holden. Collin was first in line at a traffic light.
