EAST LIVERMORE – Police have arrested an East Livermore man who they say is involved in a vehicle chop shop operation.

Randy Cote, 18, faces several charges from different law enforcement agencies after his arrest for felony theft of a snowmobile.

Local police officers and Kennebec County sheriff’s deputies recovered $50,000 worth of stolen property from the home of his mother, Darlene Cote, on Campground Road.

Officers recovered a Mitsubishi Montero stolen from Massachusetts, snowmobiles stolen from Wayne and Peru, and numerous snowmobile parts and pieces of electronic equipment, according to Kennebec sheriff’s Cpl. Jonathan Perkins.
