Outlook: The Bears head back on the road to take on the Seawolves, who are coached by former UMaine boss Trish Roberts (1988-92). UMaine is coming off a three-point loss Sunday at Northeastern and continue to struggle with turnovers and inconsistent rebounding. Stony Brook, a Division I independent, is riding a 10-game home winning streak. The Seawolves are led by freshman Jordan, who ranks 15th in the nation in scoring. She scored 31 points Monday in a win at Cornell. Stony Brook has won two in a row after losing four straight. UMaine has lost four in a row, despite shooting better than 40 percent from the field in each of those contests. The Bears must take care of the ball as the Seawolves have averaged 11.1 steals and 3.9 blocked shots while forcing 23.4 turnovers per game. Ernest and Veilleux continue to set the pace for UMaine, with Ernest having posted seven double-doubles this season.
