PRESQUE ISLE – Robert Pilsbury connected for six 3-pointers en route to 30 points as Husson College of Bangor cruised past the University of Maine-Presque Isle 99-80 in men’s basketball action Thursday night.

Matt Breen contributed 16 points and six rebounds for the Braves, while Randy Fletcher and Quinson Lancaster added 12 points each.

Ethan Birmingham’s 17 points paced the Owls. Frank Godley, Justin Norwood, Antrone Moore, and Dave Malek netted 13 points apiece.

At Machias, C.J. Vose led five players in double figures with 23 points as St. Joseph’s cruised past UM-Machias, which had just six players available.

Travis Seaver had 20 points; Leroy Gore had 15 points; Nathan Pelletier scored 14 and Mike Ifill added 12 more for St. Joseph’s.

Albert Whittaker had a game-high 25 points for the Clippers. Jesse Wignes and Josh Thornton had nine points apiece.

Katie Nye paced the winners with 18 points and Leslie Weed added 14. Liza Doughty chipped in with 12 points, Leslie Trott netted 11 and Kelley Dow put in 10.

Rachel Underwood poured in 21 points for UMPI, Rachel Larlee added 18 and Lisa Dolley had 15.

Bianca Belcher led Colby with 18 points while Carli Parisella had 16 and Jen Hallee added14 points.
