EAST MILLINOCKET – Seth Johnston hit a pair of layups in the final minute of play to erase a 67-66 deficit and provide the Schenck Wolverines with a 70-67 schoolboy basketball win over the Houlton Shiretowners Tuesday night.
Mike Hamlin pumped in a game-high 25 points, including 15 in the third period to help the Wolverines turn a four-point halftime deficit into a 10-point lead after three quarters.
Ben Jamo scored 19 points and Ryan Deschenes notched 17 more for Schenck.
James Skehan’s 23 points and Peter Bates’ 20 led Houlton. Lars O’Connell contributed 10.
