Elliot, Pooler lead Brewer past Brunswick

At Bouchard Arena in Brewer, Witches goalie Rob Elliott held the Dragons scoreless until the final 1:14 as the Witches cruised to the win.

Andy Pooler scored twice for the 7-5 Witches. Jeremiah Richter, Josh Caldwell, Tony Lorenz, Josh Kochis, Jimmy Morin, and A.J. Hayes posted a goal apiece. Elliott finished with 22 saves on 23 shots.

Brian Primevara tallied the lone goal for 4-8 Brunswick. Starting goalie Ryan Mateyko made six saves on 10 shots, and sub Mario Russo made 13 saves on 17 shots.

Orono 4, Foxcroft 0

At Sawyer Arena in Bangor, Will Toner scored two goals and Pat Skall contributed a goal and two assists as the Red Riots stayed perfect at 13-0.

Nick Dwyer added a goal, Trav Kurr had two assists and Jake Hedstrom handed out an assist for Orono. Paul Pangburn made 16 saves on 16 shots to notch his second shutout of the year.

Zach Brooks made 24 saves on 28 shots for 0-10 Foxcroft Academy.
