EASTON – Derek Carlow poured in 21 points to help Easton rally to a 57-54 schoolboy basketball win over Wisdom Wednesday night.

Matt Osgood helped the cause with 14 for the winners. Ryan Lamoreau chipped in 12 for the Bears, who didn’t take their first lead until there was about 2:30 remaining, and held on for its 12th win. Marcel Chalou had eight assists and eight rebounds.

Chad Gervais paced the Pioneers of St. Agatha with a game-high 29 points. Todd Thibeault added 11.

At Calais, freshman Andy Frost scored 26 points as the Blue Devils cruised past the Raiders.

Frost also had seven assists and six steals while his brother James Frost scored 19 points. Joey Footer and James MacDonald tossed in 10 points each for Calais.

Bob Richardson topped all scorers with 28 points and Nick Reynolds had 18 for Washington Academy of East Machias.

At Harrington Tuesday, Bobby Richardson poured in a game-high 38 points, including four consecutive free throws in the pivotal fourth quarter to lead the Raiders of East Machias to their eighth win.

Nick Reynolds popped in 15 points and grabbed 14 rebounds for the winners. Richardson hit his four free throws late in the fourth, as the Raiders went 8-for-8 from the line in the quarter. Washington Academy led by just one point with 30 seconds left. Jared Gray put in 13.

Luke Shaw led the Knights with 24 points. Jason Snider tossed in 12. Darren Frazier chipped in 12 while Steven Knapp notched 11 points to go with 10 rebounds.

Sean Kenniston poured in a game-high 32 points for Old Town and Jason Robbins tossed in 16.

Mike Ulrich scored 15 points to pace Orono, which missed a quality 3-point attempt at the buzzer. Jesse White scored 11, with Daryl Watson and Mark Mehuren adding 10 each.
