WATERVILLE – The Thomas College women’s basketball team now holds the record for three-point baskets in Division II schools.

The Lady Terriers broke the previous record of 19 three-pointers in a single game held by Cumberland College of Tennessee and Holy Names College of California when they connected on 20 in their 101-33 home game against UMaine at Fort Kent on Jan. 21. TheLady Terriers shot better than 50% from the three point range during the game.

The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) announced the record on Thursday.
