I am writing in response to Elmer Harmon (BDN, Jan. 26). I am a worker from Maine and Harmon does not represent my views with respect to Sen. Ashcroft. Harmon needs to select his words more carefully and I doubt very much that he represents the views of all Maine workers.
Ashcroft has been put under the microscope and he has answered all the subcommittee’s questions. They still aren’t satisfied. The subcommittee is still trying to find out something “bad” about Ashcroft. I doubt many Americans could stand up to the subcommittee. For that matter, how many senators could stand the test?
