WINDHAM – A Cumberland County Corrections officer has been arrested on charges he assaulted and threatened a co-worker.
Kevin Anderson is charged with criminal threatening with a dangerous weapon and domestic violence assault.
Anderson allegedly assaulted a female corrections officer at the jail and pointed a shotgun at her on Sunday, police said.
Anderson has been released on bail and has been placed on administrative leave while the Sheriff’s Department can conduct an internal investigation.
Anderson has worked at the jail for about 21/2 years.
