Who asked Martha Stewart those inane questions? Not Mainers. So why is the Bangor Daily News paying her big bucks to insult us with her pretentious, condescending answers? Does the BDN really think we need her to tell us that bird feeders attract birds or that pancakes are cooked in a pan, preferably hot? Surely, there exist more intelligent, better-written, better-researched columns of real concern to real Maine people than Stewart’s pompous, syndicated twaddle. Acid-free boxes for shoe storage? Give us a break.
