DOVER-FOXCROFT – Amy Kelley blocked a Hermon shot with six seconds remaining to help the Foxcroft Academy Ponies preserve a 54-53 schoolgirl basketball win over the Hawks Monday night.
Kelley finished with 10 points, a game-high 15 rebounds and six assists. Holli Nichols paced a balanced Foxcroft Academy effort with 13 points, Dana Frasz scored 12 and Leslie Glover provided 11.
Lindsay Duplisea netted a game-high 17 points for Hermon. Melissa Overlock tossed in 13 and Jessie Wiggin added 10.
