MACHIAS – The University of Maine-Machias Clippers rolled out to a huge halftime advantage and never looked back in an 89-38 women’s basketball victory over Maine Maritime Academy on Wednesday night.

Betsy Elmer led the way for the winners with a game-high 27 points to go with eight assists. Camilla Anderson added 23 points and 17 rebounds. Angela Robb and Tricia Farrell had 12 points each.

Stacy Ryan led the Mariners with 11 points.
