PRESQUE ISLE – Aroostook SCORE and the business department at the University of Maine at Presque Isle have announced the Small Business Roundtable meeting of the month. The topic of discussion will be “What is the most important aspect of marketing?” It will cover the basics of marketing and much more.

Larry Potter is the roundtable discussion leader. Potter is a small-business consultant with Teamwork Development Associates, associate professor of the business department at UMPI and vice-chairman of Aroostook SCORE.

Representing Aroostook SCORE at the roundtable will be Dr. Dick Cilley. Cilley was a program coordinator for the military programs at Southern Illinois University for many years. He also was the first assistant director of Northern Maine Technical College and is chairman of Aroostook SCORE.

The meeting will be held from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 21, in the Faculty Lounge in Normal Hall at UMPI. The cost is $5 per person and includes refreshments.
