Ali Elhaj, president and CEO of The Acadia Hospital, has been elected to serve a three-year term on the board of trustees for the National Association of Psychiatric Health Systems.

Herbert R. Sargent, principal of the Hampden-based general contracting firm Sargent & Sargent, has been named 2001 president of Associated Constructors of Maine, the state chapter of the Associated General Contractors of America.
