FORT KENT – Lindsey Grant poured in a game-high 20 points to go with 11 rebounds as the No. 15 Rockland girls basketball team knocked off No. 10 Fort Kent 57-51 in an Eastern Maine Class B first-round tournament game.

Jody Fournier chipped in with 14 points for the Tigers. Caitlin Grant had eight assists for Rockland, which trailed 21-8 after the first and 40-26 at halftime. The defense held the Warriors to just 11 second-half points.

Emily MacDonald paced Fort Kent with 18 points.

At Sawyer Arena in Bangor, Bobby Leavitt notched three goals and an assist to pace Bangor to a victory over Lawrence of Fairfield.

Justin Libbey tallied two goals and two assists for the 12-6 Rams as Brian Lever added a goal. Chris Zielinski and Jared Hunnefeld combined to stop all six shots.

Everett Flannery stopped 37 of 43 shots for the 3-14-1 Bulldogs.

At Dayton Arena in Brunswick, John Motta netted the game-winner in overtime for John Bapst.

Taylor Lynn put in the goal to force overtime with 7:45 left in the third period while Zach Means tallied two goals and an assist and Chris Todds added a goal for the 5-10-1 Crusaders of Bangor. Dominic Dinardo made 20 saves on 24 shots.

Mark Rogers led the (10-5) Eagles of Topsham with two goals and an assist. Robbie Bychrest and Brett Rogers each put in a goal. Nate Chisholm stopped 27 of 32 shots.
