BANGOR – “Colombia in Crisis” will be shown as part of the Peach & Justice Center of Eastern Maine’s film series at 7 p.m. Friday, Feb. 23, at 170 Park St.

Guerrilla warfare, drug trade and history of government abuses have pushed Colombia to the brink of collapse.

This film, was made by the Center for Defense Information, examines Colombia’s crisis and controversial U.S. policies.

A discussion will follow the showing. The event is free and open to the public. Child care will be provided. For information or if child care is needed for the event, call the center at 942-9343.
