CARIBOU – James Sam scored 28 of his game-high 30 points in the first half to propel the Caribou Vikings to a 92-63 boys basketball win over Old Town Monday.

Sam also had eight rebounds and six steals. Joel Griffeth added a dozen points and five steals, and Matt Nason and Andy Susee had 10 points each. Nason also had eight rebounds.

Shawn Kenniston topped Old Town with 18 points.
