BOSTON – Morris Young scored on a layup at the buzzer to give the University of Maine-Fort Kent Bengals a 74-72 men’s basketball victory over the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy Sunday.
Shaun Tomblin became the University of Maine-Fort Kent’s all-time scoring leader with 1,761 points as his 25-point night propelled him past Bruce Hanken’s old mark of 1,751. Tomblin also had 11 rebounds.
Young finished with 16 points and Stafford Bente added 14.
Brandon Sowers scored 13 points and Edgar Lugo 11 for Massachusetts College of Pharmacy.
