Janey Lesiewicz of Maine Maritime Academy has been named women’s basketball rookie of the year by the North Atlantic Conference.

Teammate Stacey Ryan, a senior from Fairfield, was named to the All-NAC first team, and junior Rachel Merrill of Anson was named to the second team.
