GUILFORD – SAD 4 directors will conduct interviews next week with candidates seeking to become the superintendent of schools.

Ten people submitted resumes for the position that serves as school administrator for the towns of Abbot, Cambridge, Guilford, Parkman, Sangerville and Wellington.

Of the 10 candidates, five or six will be interviewed next week, SAD 4 Board Chairman William Hume said Thursday.

“It’s a good pool,” Hume said. He said he believed the district would find a suitable candidate.
