WATERVILLE – Colby College will hold its 50th annual program for Maine workplace leaders, the 2001 Colby Institute for Leadership, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Wednesday, March 28, at the Colby campus. Gov. Angus King will speak at noon about Maine and the global economy and present the 2001 Governor’s Awards for Business Excellence.

The theme of the conference is “Visionary Leadership” with keynote speakers Michael Dolence at 9 a.m. on “Digital Destiny and the Future of e-Commerce”; Rushworth Kidder at 10:35 a.m. on “Ethical Leadership and the 21st Century”; and Paul Brown at 2 p.m. on “Leadership Dynamics.”
