Husson defeats Bluefield in 8th

LAKE WALES, Fla. – John Montgomery hit a two-run single in the eighth inning and Tony Laprino added a sacrifice fly to give the Husson College baseball team a 3-0 win over Bluefield in its first game of the season.

Donny Sawyer, Jared Foster, Josh Ferguson and Matt Soucie each had two singles for the Braves, who were playing their first game of the season.

Matt Fertidda hit a double for Bluefield of Virginia.
