Children’s fly tying classes set

The Penobscot Fly Fishers will be conducting children’s fly tying classes on Saturday, March 31 and Saturday, April 21 at the Bangor Community Center, 9-11:30 a.m.

Classes will be limited to 20 students with plans for no more than two students per instructor. The $10 fee includes Penobscot Fly Fishers membership, materials, class notebook and the use of tools.

The course will include an introduction to tools, materials and simple flies and conclude with more difficult patterns. The children will tie two or three different flies each class. Call Don Corey at 843-5634 or e-mail at doncorey@att.net
