ORONO – The Conseil Communautaire at the University of Maine Franco-American Center and the national chapter of Forum Francophone des Affaires will host a benefit-retirement dinner in honor of former state Sen. Judy Paradis beginning at 6 p.m. Saturday, April 7, at Le Club Calumet in Augusta.
The organizations want to thank Paradis for her 14 years of work on their behalf as a Franco-American legislator.
The social hour will begin at 6 p.m., followed by dinner at 7. Entertainment will be provided by Lilianne Labbe, Donna Hebert and Don Hinkley, with a performance by actor-playwright Gregoire Chabot.
