BOSTON – The New England Newspaper Association elected Richard J. Warren, publisher of the Bangor Daily News, as its 20th president Friday.
Warren succeeds Brian J. Long, vice president and general manager of The Springfield (Mass.) Newspapers.
Other officers elected were first vice president, James A. Rousmaniere, president and editor of the Keene (N.H.) Sentinel; second vice president, Irving E. Rogers III, publisher of the Eagle-Tribune in Lawrence, Mass.; and secretary-treasurer, Maureen Costello Wedge, vice president-human resources of the Lewiston Sun Journal.
NENA is an organization of publishers of daily and weekly newspapers in the six-state New England region.
