Holli Tapley’s victory Thursday night in the women’s 3-point contest at the 13th ESPN College Slam Dunk and 3-Point Basketball Championships can be seed today at 1:30 p.m. on ESPN-TV.

Tapley, a 5-foot-7 senior guard at Division I Fairfield University in Connecticut, hit a school-record 209 3-pointers on 38 percent accuracy (209-for-555) during her four years with the Stags. The former NEWS All-Maine selection out of Calais High School, also this season set the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference single-season record with 84 3-pointers and owns the Fairfield single-game mark with seven.

Tapley helped lead Fairfield to its first-ever at-large bid to the NCAA Tournament this season. She ended her career as the No. 12 all-time scorer with 1,207 points and is fourth with 201 career steals.
