Ice has forced race officials to move Saturday’s Passagassawaukeag River in Belfast to the St. George River in Searsmont and to reschedule Sunday’s Marsh Stream Race for May 5.
Race Director Dale Cross said that despite the shift in venues, Saturday’s race will count for points in the MaCKRO series.
The race begins on Route 131 in Searsmont at 11 a.m. Registration will take place 8:30-10:30 a.m. at a cost of $10 per paddler.
