Readers should reserve extra copies of Saturday’s paper because it will feature the 25th Bangor Daily News All-Maine Schoolgirl Basketball Team.

The All-Maine team honors the state’s top 15 players, regardless of class, position, or region, as selected by the NEWS sports staff with input from coaches, officials, and other veteran basketball observers.

In Saturday’s NEWS discover who will join the ranks of such past All-Maine standouts as Cindy Blodgett, Rachel Bouchard, Liz Coffin, Stephanie Carter, Julie Bradstreet, Joanne Palombo, Lauree Gott, Lisa Blais and Cindy Rand.

The 46th Bangor Daily News All-Maine Schoolboy Basketball Team will be published on April 14.
