YARMOUTH – The Maine State Golf Association will hold two computer seminars aimed at helping golf club officials and tournament directors better use their Golf Handicap and Information Network software.

GHIN, the handicap computation service offered by most Maine golf clubs through the MSGA and the United States Golf Association, has been revised extensively by the USGA over the winter.

The first seminar is Thursday from 5-9 p.m. at Sable Oaks in South Portland. The second will be May 10 from 5-9 p.m. at Samoset Resort Clubhouse in Rockport. There is no charge for either seminar.

Anyone interested in signing up for either seminar should call the MSGA office at 846-3800. Space is limited and reservations are required. Continuing education points will be offered for golf professionals and GCSAA superintendents.
