Bangor workshop for nonprofit groups slated for April 25

BANGOR ? A one-day workshop for nonprofit organizations will be presented by Gary Friedmann & Associates from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Wednesday, April 25, at the Spectacular Event Center on the Griffin Road in Bangor.

The workshop will cover fund-raising, special events and public relations and is designed to help nonprofit staff, board members and volunteers increase their effectiveness in raising awareness, good will and money to carry out their programs.

Specific workshop topics are: the 10 things every nonprofit should know about fund-raising; public relations; media and strategic marketing for nonprofits; and how to organize special events that make money, win friends and raise awareness.
