BANGOR – The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency has approved a $36,140 federal grant for the Passamaquoddy Tribe at Indian Township, U.S. Rep. John Baldacci announced Friday. The funding will support lead education and outreach for children and families in the Princeton area.

“This federal grant will provide lead education and outreach services to Passamaquoddy families. These resources should have a beneficial impact on children in the community, by enhancing awareness about the dangers posed by lead,” Baldacci said.
