SANGERVILLE – An informational meeting about the possible closing of the Abbie Fowler Elementary School will be held 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 24, at the school.

Speakers will include local representatives of the SAD 4 board of directors, who have discussed closing the school in view of declining enrollments in the district.

The public is invited to question the officials and to express their opinions.

The event is being sponsored by the Sangerville Historical Society, which has begun a petition drive to keep the school open.
