SEARSPORT – Taralee Webster pitched a one-hitter to help the undefeated Searsport Vikings sail past the Deer Isle-Stonington Mariners 14-2 in schoolgirl softball action Monday.
Webster also produced at the plate, singling three times and driving in four runs. Heather Hruby had a pair of singles and two runs batted in for Searsport.
Meghan Wiberg singled for the Mariners.

At Hermon, Adam Duplisea raced home from third with the winning run in the seventh on a grounder to second by Phil Cayford. Duplisea singled to right, advanced to second on a passed ball and took third on a Ron Lane single.
Ryan Garland earned the win for Hermon by holding Caribou to five hits while striking out nine and walking three. Cayford chipped in with an RBI double and Duplisea singled twice.
Travis Snell smacked an RBI double and RBI single for Caribou and Nick Chasse added an RBI single.

Dow had two singles to go with his double; LaBree singled three times and Drinkwater doubled and singled. Parker Tootill notched the win with seventh-inning relief help from Drinkwater.
