AUGUSTA – The Maine Department of Transportation has announced that work will continue until about June 15 on two sections of Routes 11 and 157 in Millinocket, East Millinocket and Medway, and that motorists should drive with caution through the work area.
The work involves adjusting drainage catch basins and paving in Millinocket, beginning at School Street and extending east about two-tenths of a mile to Penobscot Avenue.
The second section begins at Oak Street in East Millinocket and extends east 1.4 miles to Tressel Road, Medway. Improvements to ditches and culverts, updating guardrails, and grinding old pavement in preparation for new paving will be done.
