Bangor spring cleanup scheduled this week

BANGOR – Bangor Public Works will accept spring cleanup materials at the public works yard at 530 Maine Ave. on the weekends of May 12-13, May 19-20, and May 26-27. Hours of operation will be 7 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Crews will collect brush at curbside through May 11. No construction debris will be collected.

From May 14 to May 18, crews will pick up white goods including stoves, washing machines and clothes dryers. Refrigerators will not be collected at curbside.
