BANGOR – Maine Businesses for Social Responsibility will present “Doing Well by Doing Good, How Social Responsibility is Good for Business,” from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday, May 17, at the Maine Discovery Museum.

Exhibits open at 4 p.m., a social hour will be held from 5 to 6:30 p.m. and a panel presentation will be held from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Panelists will be Des FitzGerald, formerly chief executive officer of Ducktrap River Fish Farm and Atlantic Salmon of Maine; Ruth Lane, human resources director for ZF Lemforder Corp.; Marilyn Moss, formerly chief executive officer and president of Moss Inc. and now chairman of the board; and Phil Fredericks, owner of Bangor Floral.

Cost is $15 for MEBSR members and $20 for nonmembers. Registration is required by calling 761-4300, by e-mail at info@mebsr.org, or by visiting the Web site at www.mebsr.org.
