CALAIS – Amanda Brown singled and drove in a run, and Lanna Martin hit a two-run double in the bottom of the sixth inning as Calais held off Houlton 10-9 in high school softball action Tuesday.
Brown finished with three singles. Mia Silverthorne and Crystal Martin each hit two singles while Katie Frost added and RBI single.
For Houlton, Sarah Beasley and Emily Cole each had two singles and two RBIs while Valerie Lenentine hit an RBI double.
