Floyd Neal of the Bangor-Brewer Lanes, who had a tournament-high 10 of 1,403 (1,253), and Emma Wiley combined for 2,666 to win the mixed doubles candlepin bowling title at the Eastern Maine Average Plus Handicap finals last weekend at the Bangor-Brewer Lanes.

The Pittsfield team of Char’lin Williams, Joel Bowley, Judy Bowden and Stan McEwen (2,648) combined to win the mixed team title. Mike Harnish of Bangor-Brewer and Valeri Ashmore of Ellsworth won the individual titles for men and women, respectively, with identical scores of 1,356.

The top nine finishers qualified for eliminations, which begin Saturday with the women at 10 a.m. and the men at 11 a.m. Ashmore and Neal each received a bye to the 10 String Championship match Sunday, with the women at 10 a.m. and the men at 11:30 a.m.
