The Veterans Affairs clinic seems to be adding a larger base of veterans, which is great for Togus and the somewhat tight quarters for the clinic personnel and veterans. Here is one suggestion I would like Togus to consider:

The building is located just off Interstate 95 on Hogan Road (no getting lost or asking for directions), and it should be large enough to meet the needs of northern Maine veterans with some renovating; for offices, examination rooms and still have room for a waiting area and a garage for a van.

The building is the recently closed Berlin City car dealership. It would be a shame if other veterans who are tired of driving around to find the clinic or parking space did not share this venture for Togus.

Most veterans coming to the clinic from away make a day in Bangor’s shopping mall; this might help make the trip less stressful and more enjoyable.
