Waterville’s Matt Pantermoller fired a three-game series of 654 to lead the Purple Panthers to the first high school club bowling state championship. The tournament was held at the Interstate Bowling Center in Hallowell last Saturday.
The Waterville included Chris Rivera, Ken Raymond, Nick Cloutie4r and Tom Hugara. Their team score of 2,547 was the tournament’s high mark.
Teams from Cony of Augusta, Monmouth and a second Waterville competed in the event.
